So this month I am celebrating birthday of my 2002 Trans Am, Joe Dirt. I bought him from a dealership in Ohio last October and my buddy Phat Steve and I spent 5 days, 3,000 miles and went through 9 states to get him home. It was an awesome trip. Happy Birthday Joe!! (Click on the pictures to get a high-resoltion view) Enjoy!

Day 1 begins, Columbus, OH to Flint, MI. Absolutely perfect weather, T-tops were off!

We spent the night at my good friend Clint's house in Michigan. Every day is Halloween when Phat Steve and I are in town!

Hulkamania lives, Brother!!

Me, Phat Steve and Clint getting ready to party in the entertainment capital of Michigan, Flint...

Day 2, Flint, MI to Janesville, WI, my home town! Passing through Chicago, the birthplace of Phat Steve.

It is a popular urban legend that you are not allowed to smoke while refueling your vehicle...We found it to be completely harmless!!

Me and Joe in front of Parker High School, home of the Vikings!

No trip to Janesville, WI is complete without an evening of fine dining at Shakey's! Phat Steve loved every bite!

Me, Phat Steve and Skinny Steve kickin' it Janesville style!!!

The first of two motels we lived in when I was a child.

The second motel we lived in back home.

Day 3 saw us leave my beloved Wisconsin and head west. We stopped for the night in Kansas, near Fort Riley. I was stationed there from 1990-1994. Nice little house we rented in Manhattan, Kansas- the Little Apple.

The apartment I lived in for awhile in Kansas. Notice the bush is missing, Clint!

This is the trailer in Ogden, Kansas where we lived right before I went to Desert Storm.

Day 4- heading across the plains of Kansas on our way to Colorado. We didn't just "break" the speed limit, we made it our bitch!!!!

Damn you Kansas Highway Patrol!!!!!! I'm just glad they caught me when I had "decelerated" to 90...

We stopped in Colorado Springs to visit my sister, Aunt and Grandmother. Sissy cooked us an AWESOME meal!

Day 5, last day! 12 hour sprint from Colorado to Phoenix! Steve wants to go fast (Ricky Bobby reference)

Home at last!!!

...and lookin' GOOD!!!
