James Brown lives....

...in Croatia, at least. Allow me to explain. So I land at Zagreb Int'l airport after about 15 hours of traveling, grab my bag and hop into a local taxi for the 20 min (and almost $55) ride to my hotel. First song I hear? 'Living in America' by none other than the Godfather of Soul himself, Mr. James Brown. Couldn't help but chuckle out loud. Cabbie didn't speak much english so I think he missed the humor of the situation. My kids can tell you, that's one of my favorite songs, and it is always played at max volume when it comes on the radio. It will also be featured at my housewarming/4th of July party this year. just one of those crazy things that seem to happen to me...
